Ringside Rally: AKC Edition
Lists
Overview
A list is a saved set of signs that you can practice as a group. The app includes one built-in list, Favorites, which is always present. On the free version, Favorites is the only list available. Pro adds the ability to create and manage additional lists.
One list (Favorites), holding up to 8 signs.
Up to 25 lists, with up to 40 signs in each.

Adding signs to a list
There are two ways to add signs to the current list:
- On the Lists screen, tap the + button to open the sign picker, then tap any sign to add it to the current list.
- From the Signs tab, tap the heart on a sign, or press and hold a sign in the list, then choose the destination list. This is described in the Signs guide.
When a list reaches its limit (8 signs on free Favorites, 40 on a Pro list), it will not accept more signs until some are removed.
The + button opens a picker for adding signs to the current list.
Arranging a list
The order of signs in a list is the order they appear in a Practice session.
- Reorder: drag a sign to a new position within the list.
- Remove a sign: while dragging, drop the sign onto the trash icon that appears.
- Clear the list: tap CLEAR in the toolbar to remove all signs from the current list. This does not delete the list itself.
Drag to reorder, or drop a sign on the trash icon to remove it.
Switching and managing lists Pro
The current list name appears at the top of the screen with a ▾ marker. Selecting it opens the list menu, where you can:
- Switch lists: tap a list name to make it the current list.
- Create a list: tap New List, enter a name, and save.
- Rename a list: select the rename action next to a list and edit its name.
- Delete a list: select the delete action next to a list. All signs in that list are removed.
A few rules apply: list names must be unique, and at least one list must always exist, so the final remaining list cannot be deleted.
The list menu: switch between lists, or create, rename, and delete them.
Practicing a list
When the current list contains at least one sign, a play button appears. Selecting it starts a Practice session using that list. See the Practice guide for details on running a session.
Ways to organize lists Pro
Custom lists can be organized in whatever way suits your training. Common approaches include:
- By trial or course: build a list from a course map to rehearse a specific run.
- By skill: group the signs that train a particular skill, such as fronts and finishes or pivots.
- By dog: keep a separate list for each dog you are handling.
